The short version: try it free for seven days before you pay anything. After that, you can cancel whenever you like and you keep what you have already paid for until that period ends. We do not refund time you have bought. If we charge you something we should not have, that comes back every time.
Every plan starts with seven days free. Nothing is charged during it and no money moves. If Seneschal is not right for you, cancel before the trial ends and you will never be billed at all. That is the point at which to decide, and it is why there is no separate money back window afterwards.
One button inside the app. No phone call, no email required, no retention offers to click past. Cancelling is as easy as subscribing, on purpose.
Cancelling turns off the automatic renewal. It does not cut you off. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing is charged after that. A monthly subscriber who cancels on day three still has the rest of that month. An annual subscriber who cancels in month two still has the remaining ten months.
Time you have bought is yours to use, so there is nothing to give back:
These are our mistakes, not your change of mind, and they come back in full without you having to argue for them:
None of this limits any right you have under Washington consumer protection law. Where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law wins.
Any refund includes the proportional share of the sales tax you were charged on it. The refunded tax is shown on the credit note.
Every refund produces a credit note in your billing history, showing the service amount, the tax refunded and the total.
Please ask us first. Nearly every dispute is a misunderstanding we can sort out in a day, and a chargeback filed before asking freezes your account until the bank finishes its process, which takes weeks and helps nobody.
